Environmental awareness

The proper design, construction and use of technology has a very low environmental impact: in a region like Transylvania, rich in forests, the careful use of wood protects the only forever renewable resource known to us. Working with wood means a 50 % less energy consumption than working with cement, and with 80 % less than working with bricks.

The wood absorbs the carbon-dioxide wich is responsible for global warming, and in the use of it. it creates a long-term carbon-dioxide storage, which will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 0.8 tonnes per m³.

By replacing the common construction material with wood, each cubic meter of wood reduces the CO₂ emissionsby an average of 0.8 tonnes.

Vitality

Living in a wooden house means a natural and healthy environment. The wood is the only breathing material, which can regulate the indoor humidity, can avoid the drying of the air and with proper ventilation it reaches an optimal energy saving level. The microclimate assured by the wooden houses keeps the humidity at an optimal level, avoiding different bacteria, viruses and dust.

Economy

The wooden house saves you money not only during the construction of it, but also throughout of life: the wooden walls isolate with 15 times better than concrete, 400 times better than steel and with 1770 times better than aluminium. According to some sources a 2.5 centimeters wooden wall isolates the heat better than a 11,4 centimeters wall made of bricks.

Moreover, the wood stores sun energy and humidity, so reducing the costs of heating in the winter and cooling in the summer.
